Congratulations to Elijah Lucy, Emery High, Oakland, CA, Class of 2015, who signed an athletic scholarship (LOI) with University of Nebraska Track & Field. Elijah is shown in photo on left on signing day 7/6/15 with family friend, Daniel Wright, who is a local advocate for youth in all things track & field and academics. Photo on right shows Elijah earlier this summer with proud Mom, Dorean Todd. Elijah is a hard worker, loves math, does volunteer work in the community and is a great track athlete and football player. His small high school did not have a track and field. Amazing what one can do when one wants to! A lot to be very proud of! Great job, Elijah! Go and grow and have a wonderful college experience!
